Combat Support Group, RAAF has contracted DPRA Australasia to develop a web based reporting and information retrieval system weekly and immediate reporting of capability status. DPRA has called the system HARVEST^TM. Under Project HARVEST DPRA will deliver an initial operating capability HARVEST Version 1.0 by end Nov 07. HARVEST^TM will automate the current manual system of emails and documents for submission of weekly and immediate reports. Importantly, the reports will be saved to a database to enable query and trend analysis, and thus the reporting effort will transmit information and data. In effect, only changes since the last report will be made, thus significantly reducing staff effort. The immediate reporting component of HARVEST^TM will enable C2 of those critical capabilities such as airfield status, fuel, base operations, and unit expeditionary status.
