Homeland Defence
Increasingly there is recognition of the need to plan effectively for homeland defence, including inter-agency responses through all levels of government.
DPRA Australasia and DPRA development teams produce technology that enables government leaders and agencies to plan all aspects of homeland defence response options, exercises and training. Using net-centric, collaborative planning functionality, planners are able to develop immediate and deliberate plans with ease. Most importantly, every plan is archived to be available for review and modification.
In the DPRA portal environment, planners have a set of integrated planning tools that enable capability element, personnel, casualty prediction and medical, logistics, and decision support planning. All of these functions are integrated across the departments and agencies participating in a joint response.
Information sharing is a critical aspect of DPRA’s adaptive planning process, leading to streamlined operations plan and transportation flow. Flow analysis over time enables continuous review of the plan in terms of response agency closure into the area of concern, logistics flow and assignment of transportation assets, thus ensuring that the course of action reflects national, state and regional homeland defence objectives.
