Federal, State and inter-agency planning is a crucial element to mitigate disaster, and to respond effectively to an event.

DPRA Australasia partners with DPRA development teams to produce technology that enables civil leaders to collaboratively plan all aspects of disaster responses, exercises and training. Focusing on net-centric, collaborative planning functionality, planners are able to develop immediate and deliberate disaster plans (DISPLAN) at Federal, State and regional levels with ease. Importantly, every plan is archived and available for review and modification. Planners from federal down to district level have a set of integrated tools that enable agency capability, personnel, medical, and logistics support planning. All of these functions are integrated across participating agencies.

Set in a portal environment, integrated tools, reports and information sharing are critical aspects of DPRA’s adaptive planning process, leading to streamlined civil response planning. Flow analysis of the response plans over time enables review of agency closure into the area of operations, logistics flow and assignment of transportation assets, thus ensuring the courses of action align with Federal and State objectives, and accurately reflect the various written national and state DISPLANs.
